I, Mary Hess Township Supervisor of DeKalb Township, in the great State of Illinois,
Do hereby proclaim the month of March in the year 2022, to be the 50th anniversary of the national senior nutrition program and recognize this coincides with the 48th anniversary of Voluntary Action Center.
In the Township of DeKalb, I urge every resident to recognize older adults and the people who support them through nutrition services as essential contributors to the strength of our community.
