Free COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at DeKalb Township

DeKalb Township is hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic on Monday, December 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its office (2323 S. Fourth Street, DeKalb). This event is held in partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH).
The IDPH, following the Food and Drug Administration’s decision to open COVID-19 booster shots to all, is recommending anyone 18 years of age and older get a COVID-19 vaccine booster dose six months after receiving their second Moderna or Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, or two months after receiving the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
For individuals ages 12 and older who have not yet received the COVID-19 vaccine, first (and second) doses are available at this event. Appointments are preferred, but not required for either the booster clinic or for first or second doses. Walk-ins are accepted.
All participants are asked to bring their vaccination record card with them. Anyone 12–17 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. There is no residency requirement for this event.
